LGMI Was Created in 2021 to Bring the Gospel to the Nations
The Mission
Land of Goshen Ministries International is a revival ministry called to establish a Missions Base, a place of nearness and provision before the second coming of Christ.
“You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near me, you and your children and your children's children, and your flocks, your herds, and all that you have. There I will provide for you,” Genesis 45:10-11.
In Genesis 45, Joseph’s heart to bring his family to a place of protection, provision, and nearness is a reflection of Jesus’ heart for His people as times get hard. We believe that God is strategically making Cape Verde an epicenter for Revival, giving the nation a specific role in the Great Commission. The Islands of Cape Verde are not forgotten by the Lord, becoming a place of nearness, provision and protection they are a part in God’s grand plan for world redemption.
The Base
Land of Goshen is a Place of Nearness & Provision. A Missions Base established in the Islands of Cape Verde. The place of nearness speaks of a place of God's presence, that people can come and encounter Him and minister to His heart. Through prayer, worship and any of our programs hosted at the base. The place of provision speaks of the impact that LGMI makes through it’s farming, with both agriculture and animal husbandry. With training of trade skills, language schools, educational programs and more, the community is equipped with knowledge that leads to better paying opportunities.
We will establish the Missions Base with a Garden, Trade Skills Workshops, Schools, a House of Prayer, and a Church. We desire to have housing for missionaries, as well as a full service kitchen, cooking with our own bases farm products.
1. Training Center for the Portuguese-Speaking Nations
Our base will serve as an end-time hub to receive, equip, and send bold messengers of the Gospel back to their nations. We exist to raise missionaries who are grounded in the Word, strengthened in prayer, and ready to make lasting spiritual and practical impact.
2. Local Training & Impact Center
Our base will also serve the local community—discipling in Bible, theology, worship, and prayer, while equipping with practical skills such as agriculture, animal husbandry, and trades. Beyond training, our gardens will directly feed local families, bringing both spiritual and physical nourishment to the community.
